Work and study
If you are on the autism spectrum, the transition into adulthood may be a challenging experience for you and your family. It is also a period when access to services begins to taper. Finding the right support during this transition can set you on a trajectory of increased independence and autonomy, physically and financially. After finishing school there are many pathways to post-secondary study and training, as well as part-time or full-time work.
CARG offers programs that provide vocational and educational supports and strategies for individuals with ASD. The programs can give you access to employment opportunities and a chance to maintain successful employment, with training strategies that help you overcome social and communication difficulties, and assist you in other areas in which you need support.
